Aberdeen City Rides: Thank You
The Aberdeen City Rides blog will return in the autumn. Thank you to all the riders that have enjoyed the rides, all the supportive comments I've received and the inspiring stories of riders coming back to biking during the lock down.
I don't suggest you follow this route! However, I do recommend just leaving the house with no particular place to go, and riding around Aberdeen. There is so much to see, learn about and people to chat to. Thank you to all the dog walkers and other pedestrians that have been so friendly; Forestry and Land Scotland and National Trust for Scotland for keeping paths and trails in good shape and to Will Clarke at Developing Mountain Biking in Scotland, Clark at Bennachie Bike Bothy, Chris Roper at Ride in Peace Adventures and Raeanne at Visit Aberdeenshire for being good mates in tricky times.
This route finishes with through the Aberdeesnhire Council, Ambulance Station and Hospital buildings. Thanks to all those working so hard there during the lockdown.
See you on a ride soon.
