About the Event
This is a big day out taking in the high plateau and one of the classic descents in the Cairngorms. The approach is on estate roads from Invercauld Estate Walkers Carpark, then single track trails and a long (1 hr) hike-a-bike on to the Beinn A'Bhuird Munro itself. Then the pay back is a 6km long descent through 700m to the glen floor.
This is a perfect ride for you if you are a competent rider, or mountain goer, that is looking for an introduction to big mountain riding. There will be support from a guide, and a like-minded group of riders.Â
The specific route will depend on the weather conditions, but all options will require riding at over 600m, some descent on rough terrain, and the inevitable mountain weather. So please check out the be prepared page . If you have any questions or concerns please get in touch at wilkesy@macdui-bike-advenutres.com.
